Location Research & Shooting
Degree Project
Whilst shooting for my degree project I have frequently shot on location across the Norfolk and Suffolk regions. Before shooting at the grounds I have been granted access, part of my process I choice to visit these locations prior to shooting so I know what I'm working with and what the spaces are like in regards to lighting, space, what equipment I'll need for the shoot and timescales. This is especially helpful as I'm working with medium format, Kodak Portra 160 film. Lighting is the key factor when working within these changing room facilities, to establish what equipment will be best suited.
The above videos are from recents shoot on location in Norfolk. The first video is a recording from a conversation I had with a player from a Norfolk based team, Woolpack. The other was taken when I was on location shooting interiors at Rocklands FC, Norfolk.
These are some more images from locations again from clubs across the Norfolk region, and above is also an image of the film I've been using during this body of work.
