Juno Calypso

Juno Calypso - TJ Boulting Exhibition
London

Calypso's exhibition was just the second solo show at the TJ Boulting Gallery, exhibiting her works from her series 'What To Do With A Million Years'. Calypso is known for her arresting and iconic photographic series of self portraits.

The use of space utilised by the artist was intelligently curated with just a few number of large framed prints on the first floor allowing the viewer to digest and indulge the striking self portraits before entering the lower floor where it had been curated within a set to replicate the underground home in which she had created this self portraits. To the extent where she had an aroma of beauty products dominating the senses.

The cleverly designed set was a fresh take on an exhibition that had only 9 framed images exhibited across the two levels.
